Analysts (including analysts who call themselves consultants or advisors) are often thought to have bias, especially if most of their revenue comes from vendors. Sometimes the effort put into staying informed makes analysts seem very process-driven but less […]

On the Reading List – Groundswell by Forrester’s Charlene Li and Josh Bernoff

Groundswell book cover. Charlene Li and Josh BernoffI have been reading a reviewer copy of “Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies” by Forrester analysts Charlene Li and Josh Bernoff. Rather than waiting until I finished the book and write a review, this post is a suggestion that if you or your company are interested in using social media either for AR or general marketing purposes then you should buy this book (click here to order on Amazon).

Forrester is investing a fair amount of effort into promoting the book including sending the analysts on a grueling book tour. There is a Groundswell website that has a nifty tool to generate a Social Technographics profile of your customers.

Question: Have you visited the Groundswell website and tried out the profile tool? What did you think?

One Response

  1. Thanks, Carter. The profile tools is getting links from all over.
