In response to your inquiry, here is our corporate statement :
On Monday, January 26, 2009, Reed Business Information reduced its workforce by 7% in response to the impact tough economic conditions are having on its business. In addition, salary increases and hiring were frozen for the year.
If the financial outlook materially improves in subsequent quarters, the company will revisit its decision.

There were further analyst layoffs in April 2009. Analyst and staff reductions now total more than 25% compared with 1/1/09. Business group took the biggest hit, wireless almost gone as well.
